| 内容記述 | This paper will seek to clarify when and how Japanese engineers made light bulbs for peoples' use when the age of electricity began during the Meiji period. The main targets of analysis in this paper will be when light bulbs became a widespread daily-use commodity and which consumers have or have not purchased light bulbs produced in Japan. This paper will follow the industry's history from the establishment of domestic light bulb production until the alliance with foreign company General Electric （GE）, and describes an entrepreneurial figure whose enthusiasm is evident in Japanese light bulb production. | |||||
